i-gel® Plus Resus Pack, an innovation award finalist
EMS World is a leading expert providing guided clinical, management and regulatory connections to a dedicated audience on the front line and out-of-hospital care group. Each year, as the annual EMS World Conference approaches companies have an opportunity to submit a new or modified device that improves the delivery of EMS. This year we have nominated the i-gel® Plus Resus Pack for this prestigious award as this device exemplified just that!
The i-gel® Plus Resus Pack represents an advancement on the i-gel®O2 Resus Pack, incorporating more advanced i-gel® Plus device with the following product improvements: a larger gastric channel to enhance patient safety and reduce the risk of aspiration, a new intubation ramp to optimize use as a conduit for intubation (with fiberoptic guidance) and a longer cuff tip to enhance the esophageal seal providing improved protection against aspiration.
This years’ EMS World Conference takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada from September 9th – 13th at which time, Independent Judges from the EMS World Editorial Advisory Board will be stopping by our Intersurgical booth# 1807 to review and demo the i-gel® Plus as a finalists for this award.
