Position U.S. REGULATORY AFFAIRS SPECIALIST
Description OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible to build and deliver on regulatory strategies and technical documentation to support regulatory submissions in the US for medical devices. The RA Specialist supports new and sustaining product development and assists regulatory issues related to registration, labeling, testing requirements, and marketing claims. The RA Specialist reports directly to the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan, prepare and review all aspects of ongoing and new regulatory submissions in support of new product development (e.g. 510(k), Technical Files, Design Files, etc.)
  • Research technical requirements for regulatory databases
  • Review scientific/engineering materials including protocols and test reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to provide regulatory support when needed (e.g. R&D, Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing, Customer Support, Marketing, Logistics, etc.)
  • Review proposed labeling to ensure that the intended use and claims are supported for use and domestic and international regulations are met.
  • Assist to ensure the Quality Management System is fully implemented, documented, maintained and in compliance with ISO 13485, FDA-QSR and standards and regulations
  • Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • The ability to research technical topics (product materials and attributes) / problem solving ability; ability to summarize, desired.
  • Thorough understanding of FDA and international regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of medical device regulations and terminologies.
  • Must be detail-oriented and work in team environment.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality in dealing with regulatory documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in the areas of written and verbal communication.
  • Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • High level of proficiency in the use of a personal computer with proficiency in the use the MS Office Suite.
  • Must be able to meet goals on time.

EDUCATION:
  • Associate degree. In scientific discipline preferred.
  • Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) preferred.
  • Experience with technical file maintenance.
  • One (1) or more years’ experience in medical device / FDA regulated industry, experience with U.S. FDA 510(k).
  • Language Skills: Must have command of the English language and should have mathematical skills commensurate with educational background and necessary for describing and summarizing laboratory and/or clinical data.
  • Must demonstrate ability to review documentation in order to determine varying product attributes. Ability to solve practical problems and knowledge of when to seek guidance.

Description Intersurgical Inc. is seeking an excellent candidate to fill the position of Account Executive Position located in Minnesota. This territory includes Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Must reside within 25 miles of a major airport. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • As a leader in anesthesia and respiratory care products we are seeking an experienced outside sales representative for our medical device account executive position. This territory requires 40-60 percent overnight travel.
  • Selling in clinical environments and working throughout the supply chain to provide product-based solutions while providing clinical education is essential for success.  This includes assessing the needs of the customers, presenting differential features and benefits, cost/value analysis and the ability to understand and manage complex healthcare supply chain networks.

Position U.S. PRODUCT MANAGER
Description Intersurgical Inc. is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Product Manager. This position will support a wide array of products, training initiatives, sales team and marketing functions and is a highly self-directed individual. As a Product Manager, you will lead a variety of product launches, trainings, product support as well as collaborate with teammates locally and internationally on more complex product projects and programs.
 
OVERVIEW:

Manage existing products, as well as integrating new products and product changes throughout Intersurgical, USA. Facilitate between the various internal departments to ensure successful product lifecycle and support of the company’s overall strategy and goals. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Product Planning:
  • Product planning and execution throughout product lifecycle.
  • Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
  • Defining the product vision and working closely with marketing, sales and Senior Product Manager to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  • Work with Account Executives to asses training and in-servicing needs for customers.
  • Develop a training plan based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure that the products support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
  • Provide market and competitive feedback to the Senior Product Manager.
  • Maintain product knowledge and keep abreast of current trends and medical applications.
  • Coordinate with Senior Product Manager and develop personnel regarding new products and product changes.
  • Evaluate and provide input for new product development.
  • Assist with participation in PMCF evaluations.
  • Assist with planning and executing medical conference participation including attendance at trade shows.
  • Support distribution partners with product training and clinical information.
  • Work with marketing to prepare clinical material to support sales activities.

Sales Support:
  • Serve as a clinical resource to the field Account Executives and Distribution Partners.
  • Follow up on leads and clinical product questions.
  • Support all company sales policies and programs.
  • Review and analyse all field sales reports and take necessary action.
  • Provide necessary training to ensure Account Executives are knowledgeable of product line to effectively carry out their duties and responsibilities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts as required.
  • Provide pricing guidelines to Account Executives as required.

Customer Service:
  • Provide on-going business development and support to customers.

Training:
  • Provide sales and product training to new hire employees and Distribution Partners.
  • Maintain vendor credentialing.
  • On-going training and support for sales staff through webinars and conference calls.
  • Provide product launch training to Account Executives and Distribution Partners.
  • Field sales training to integrate the training knowledge into clinical expertise.
  • Training of distributor organizations to expand on the opportunities that are available through distributors by training their sales force on the Intersurgical product line.
  • Daily support of all staff in answering clinical questions and applications.

Regulatory and Quality:
  • Product evaluation for market opportunities.
  • Validate marketing materials for clinical relevance and accuracy.
  • Work with Account Executives to ensure proper product presentations are within product claims and performance
Qualifications:
  • Clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist or RN working in the acute care environment.
Miscellaneous:
  • Maintain records as required.
  • Any other tasks that may, from time to time, be required by the company.

Position U.S. MARKETING COORDINATOR
Description Intersurgical Inc. is seeking an excellent candidate to fill the position of Marketing Coordinator in our East Syracuse, NY headquarters. This position will support a wide array of marketing functions and is a highly self-directed individual. As a marketing coordinator, you will work in a group setting and eventually independently, to help lead a variety of pursuits, and short list product launch preparation activities, as well as collaborate with teammates on more complex marketing projects and programs such as advertisements and tradeshows. The marketing coordinator may work closely with individuals at all levels, including senior leadership both locally and across the country.
Position Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the collaboration, of marketing materials which includes helping to manage and plan the development of content, contributing information and drafting appropriate sections, learning to edit text for clarity and consistency, possibly helping to create necessary graphics, and preparing final documents for flyers and catalogs, (depending on skill levels).
  • Coordinate additional marketing activities which may include advertising, direct mailing, event planning, website updates, and trade shows.
  • Develop and edit project descriptions for new product and other marketing materials.
  • Learn to support development of marketing and sales strategy, and work with the Marketing and Sales Management Teams to identify specific marketplace needs.

Description Intersurgical Inc. is seeking an excellent candidate to fill the position of Account Executive Position located in Pennsylvania. This territory includes Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Must reside within 25 miles of a major airport. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • As a leader in anesthesia and respiratory care products we are seeking an experienced outside sales representative for our medical device account executive position. This territory requires 40-60 percent overnight travel.
  • Selling in clinical environments and working throughout the supply chain to provide product-based solutions while providing clinical education is essential for success.  This includes assessing the needs of the customers, presenting differential features and benefits, cost/value analysis and the ability to understand and manage complex healthcare supply chain networks.
  • Call points include but not limited to:  Acute care hospitals, surgery centers, emergency medical services agencies and long-term care facilities.
  • The ideal candidate will display excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to organize and develop multi-state territory.
  • 2-3 years successful outside sales experience. 
  • Ability to understand human anatomy and physiology.
  • Effectively cover the territory through travel 40-60%. 
  • Clinical background, and experience with hospital environment/vendor credentialing a plus.
  • Proficient with computers and electronics/technology.
  • College degree preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts within territory.
  • Developing and maintaining proficiency with a variety of products.
  • Effectively manage accounts, territory and resources.
  • Develop and effectively implement sales plans and objectives.
  • Effectively manage the sales cycle and process from prospecting and preparation to close and in-service.
  • Maintaining account records.
  • Drug screening, background checks and immunizations required per industry standards.
