Position EMS Sales Manager - West
Description Job Overview:
EMS Sales Manager – West is responsible for sales development in the EMS marketplace in the western region based on the designated territory list, and assisting nationwide as requested by Executive Management to drive sales, accountability, and engagement. Implement sales strategies to not only increase sales but to also significantly improve our engagement strategy, overall interaction and position within the EMS market. 
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years medical experience preferably working in an emergency care setting (Hospital or EMS) preferred, with a proven track record of success
  • Self-directed, able to work independently and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently & function in a fast paced, high growth environment.
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills and effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong communicative, problem solving, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficiency with computer technology and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations/situations along with excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding and grasp of market analysis, planning, development and management.
  • Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Clean driving record
  • Internal candidates must be in good standing with current position.
  • Must reside within 30 miles of a major airline hub within region 3 or 4. Relocations are not covered.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Continuously develop product knowledge, stay up to date with the industry changes within the EMS market. 
  • Implement sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives set for the geographic territory. 
  • Maintain existing customers and prospect and gain new business.
  • Facilitate sales growth by conducting medical director, administrator and all levels of pre-hospital care provider training and account in-servicing of core EMS portfolio products.
  • Provide product support to customers in Pre-hospital care environment
  • Educate customers on products, procedures, and industry trends through use of community wide education programs and local EMS training programs.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth profile of each account to include customer preferences, competitive products and field intelligence, market activity, important contact/decision makers, customer feedback, and attendees in-serviced. 
  • Planning effectively to maximize time in the field
  • Conduct strategic territory management and analysis
  • Develop key opinion leaders for each core EMS product segment.
  • Account for all territory expenses and materials.
  • Review current literature for new developments within the healthcare and sales fields including competitive information.
  • Assist with the coordination of regional and national conferences to ensure proper setup, booth coverage, and breakdown of exhibit, as requested.
  • Attend Local, Regional, and/or National Scientific Tradeshows and professional meetings to promote products and in-service customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products and competitive offerings utilizing the technology tools that are available.
  • Perform other duties requested by management.
  • Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Intersurgical Incorporated Code of Ethics, all company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.
  • Conduct product updates and reviews with marketing and field sales personnel.
  • Work with Product Management, purchasing, sales, and EMS Customer(s) to provide a better forecast for product needs.
 
Miscellaneous:
  • Serve as liaison between home office, Account Executives and customers.
  • Travel requirement is 80% overnight travel. This is a "Road Warrior" position.
  • District manager home base should be within 30 mile of a major US airport within the Midwest and Western District.
  • Manage established annual budgets.
  • Submit all documents and or reports in a timely manner.
  • Provide monthly or as requested pipeline and sales forecasts.
  • Utilize Product Manager’s for territory and account executive development and training.
  • Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Intersurgical Incorporated Code of Conduct, all Company policies/procedures, rules, and housekeeping standards.
  • Maintain and submit required car stock inventory reports.
  • Ability to carry product samples and training equipment up to 25lbs.
  • Use commercial transportation and drive a vehicle throughout territory.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Any other tasks that may, from time to time, be required by the company

  • Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments. (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics) to address key business issues and opportunities.
  • Maintain an active and supportive relationship within distribution partnerships in order to support and promote Intersurgical products.
  • Maintain and promote strong working relationships with all field sales and management.
  • Conduct co-operative field sales calls and regularly work with field reps and sales management.

Position Account Executive
Description
Targeting Phoenix Arizona

Job overview:
In-depth acute care medical device sales experience required with strong understanding of a solution based selling process. Grow current business with additional product line solutions while expanding customer base through cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction in our product lines within the Acute Care, EMS and Alternate Care markets, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts.


Key activities:
  • Position primarily works independently within assigned territory; will work as a member of a consultative sales team in the sales cycle; will develop relationships with distributors to provide better coverage within the territory; responsible for managing territory within budget.
  • Ensure a comprehensive understanding of customer’s current/future product and service needs; develop relationships with customers to provide the best solutions and support through the full line of Intersurgical products.
  • Effectively understand the process of the customer to ensure all key decision makers and steps have been included. Convert the business.
  • Identify new product sale opportunities and utilize the lead report distributed from home office to generate business.
  • Responsible for maintaining organization within the territory to ensure appropriate coverage based on the geography
  • Conduct product trials, Value Analysis Presentations and all required customer and distributor education
  • Coordinate customer support with clinical specialist to provide customers with support from experts in clinical applications and an in-depth technical understanding of product application and highlighting impact on patient outcomes.
  • Ensure that all administrative tasks (i.e. training modules, expense reports, sales forecasts, etc.) are completed promptly and accurately.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Associates degree acceptable with comparable and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 4 years related sales experience, preferred
  • Ability to travel throughout the state of Arizona and Southern Nevada.
  • Proven product knowledge in medical devices
