Position Account Executive- Ohio
Description Intersurgical Inc. is seeking an excellent candidate to fill the position of Account Executive Position located in Ohio. Must reside within 25 miles of a major airport. 

Position Responsibilities:
  • As a leader in anesthesia and respiratory care products we are seeking an experienced outside sales representative for our medical device account executive position. This territory requires 40-60 percent overnight travel.
  • Selling in clinical environments and working throughout the supply chain to provide product-based solutions while providing clinical education is essential for success.  This includes assessing the needs of the customers, presenting differential features and benefits, cost/value analysis and the ability to understand and manage complex healthcare supply chain networks.
  • Call points include but not limited to:  Acute care hospitals, surgery centers, emergency medical services agencies and long-term care facilities.
  • The ideal candidate will display excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to organize and develop multi-state territory.
  • 2-3 years successful outside sales experience. 
  • Ability to understand human anatomy and physiology.
  • Effectively cover the territory through travel 40-60%. 
  • Clinical background, and experience with hospital environment/vendor credentialing a plus.
  • Proficient with computers and electronics/technology.
  • College degree preferred.

Position U.S. Customer Support Assistant
Description Intersurgical Inc. is seeking an excellent candidate to fill the position of Customer Support Assistant in our East Syracuse, NY headquarters. This position will answer the phones, (strive for nothing over 2 rings), and if needed, provide information regarding billing, shipping and products. Obtain a complete understanding of our current computer software as it relates to Customer Support and be able to input data, research database and answer questions from the field, ensuring Customer needs are met. Help to maintain stock levels of literature. Keep up-to-date on product knowledge. Help to support the Customer Support Representative in the processing of sample and literature requests. Successfully take part in product new hire training course at least once a year.  Any other tasks that may, from time to time, be required by the company.

Position Responsibilities
  • Answer customer phone calls and if needed, provide information regarding billing, shipping and products.
  • Enter Customer Purchase Orders into our current computer system.​
  • Send orders to the appropriate warehouse and maintain the order transmission spreadsheet
  • Follow the revision request policy, when Purchase Orders are inaccurately received and can’t be processed
  • Process shipments against Purchase Orders ensuring accuracy in product, price, and destination
  • Have a clear understanding of EDI and MAPADOC to ensure accuracy of electronic order entry.
  • Billing, invoicing and posting of purchase orders, cross checking to ensure accuracy of product, shipping requirements and pricing.
  • Process RGA requests in accordance with company policies and guidelines
  • Back up for processing Sample and Literature requests for Sales Team, Product Managers, and National Account Managers.
  • Help to obtain accurate tracking and traceability information on all sample requests and input into our software database.
  • Back up in the printing of literature pieces helping to maintain - stock levels.
  • Help to prepare and send out New Product Sample Packs, New Rep Sample Packs.
  • Monitor and report StarMed sample requests, and send a cumulative sample request spreadsheet to the executive management team when the Customer Support Representative is not available.
Miscellaneous:
  • Obtain a working knowledge of the UPS shipping system to be able to ship and track packages.
  • Maintain electronic files and correspondence as required
  • Notify the Customer Support Manager of any issues or concerns
  • Crosstrain with all members of the Customer Support Team.
  • Assist the Marketing Team Members with miscellaneous promotional items and projects
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Superior writing, editing, and document formatting skills, as well as close attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in a team environment—often under multiple tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Prior knowledge of medical device services a plus, but not a requirement
