Position EMS Account Executive - Southeast
Description Job Overview:
EMS Account Executive - Southeast (must reside within targeted area - AL, AK, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX)

EMS Account Executive - Southeast is responsible for sales development in the EMS marketplace in the designated region based on the designated territory list to drive sales, accountability and engagement. Implement sales strategies to not only increase sales but to also significantly improve our engagement strategy, overall interaction and position within the EMS market.
 
Requirements:
· Bachelor of Science degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
· 5+ years medical experience, preferably working in an emergency care setting (Hospital or EMS) preferred, with a proven track record of success
· Self-directed, able to work independently and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently & function in a fast paced, high growth environment.
· Strong problem solving/analytical skills and effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organizational skills, strong communicative, problem solving, and interpersonal skills are required.
· Proficiency with computer technology and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Ability to handle difficult conversations/situations along with excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills.
· Strong understanding and grasp of market analysis, planning, development and management.
· Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, presentation and organizational skills.
· Clean driving record
· Must reside within 30 miles of a major airline hub within the region.
 
Responsibilities:
· Continuously develop product knowledge, stay up to date with the industry changes within the EMS market.
· Implement sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives set for the geographic territory.
· Maintain existing customers and prospect and gain new business.
· Facilitate sales growth by conducting medical director, administrator and all levels of pre-hospital care provider training and account in-servicing of core EMS portfolio products.
· Provide product support to customers in Pre-hospital care environment
· Educate customers on products, procedures, and industry trends through use of community wide education programs and local EMS training programs.
· Develop and maintain an in-depth profile of each account to include customer preferences, competitive products and field intelligence, market activity, important contact/decision makers, customer feedback, and attendees in-serviced.
· Planning effectively to maximize time in the field
· Conduct strategic territory management and analysis
· Develop key opinion leaders for each core EMS product segment.
· Account for all territory expenses and materials.
· Review current literature for new developments within the healthcare and sales fields including competitive information.
· Assist with the coordination of regional and national conferences to ensure proper setup, booth coverage, and breakdown of exhibit, as requested.
· Attend Local, Regional, and/or National Scientific Tradeshows and professional meetings to promote products and in-service customers.
· Maintain knowledge of company products and competitive offerings utilizing the technology tools that are available.
· Perform other duties requested by management.
· Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Intersurgical Incorporated Code of Ethics, all company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.
· Conduct product updates and reviews with marketing and field sales personnel.
· Work with Product Management, purchasing, sales, Marketing and EMS Customer(s) to provide a better forecast for product needs.
 
Miscellaneous:
· Serve as liaison between home office and customers.
· Travel requirement is 80% overnight travel. This is a "Road Warrior" position.
· Manage established annual budgets.
· Submit all documents and or reports in a timely manner.
· Provide monthly or as requested pipeline and sales forecasts.
· Utilize Product Manager’s for territory and account executive development and training.
· Maintain and submit required car stock inventory reports.
· Ability to carry product samples and training equipment up to 25lbs.
· Use commercial transportation and drive a vehicle throughout territory.
· Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
· Any other tasks that may, from time to time, be required by the company
· Perform other duties requested by management.
· Maintain all region records as required.
· International travel is possible. Account Executives are required to have a valid passport. Intersurgical does not provide reimbursement for the purchase or renewal of a passport.

· Collaborate with distributor marketing resources and sales teams to define overall sales strategy and develop solutions to the customer’s requirements.
· Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments. (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics) to address key business issues and opportunities.
· Maintain an active and supportive relationship within distribution partnerships in order to support and promote Intersurgical products.
· Maintain and promote strong working relationships with all field sales and management.
· Conduct co-operative field sales calls and regularly work with field reps and sales management.

Position Regulatory Affairs Coordinator
Description

This position is responsible for assisting Director of RA in regulatory activities including management of regulatory databases, providing document review, labeling review and coordination with multiple personnel and/or departments. 
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Research technical requirements for regulatory databases
Assist in technical interface between RA, marketing and Labeling personnel
Access technical files and update as directed
Assist in preparation of regulatory submissions (Tech Files, Design Files and 510(k)s)
 
Qualifications:
The ability to research technical topics (product materials and attributes) / problem solving ability; ability to summarize, desired.
Must be detail-oriented and work in team environment.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality in dealing with regulatory documents
Strong interpersonal skills in the areas of written and verbal communication
Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects concurrently
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
High level of proficiency in the use of a personal computer with proficiency in the use of the MS Office Suite

Education:
High School or equivalent required.
